Priyadarshini Pennathur is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso. She received her doctoral degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo in 2010. Her background and research interests include cognitive engineering, information systems, usability, accessibility and design equity with applications in healthcare systems, office work and academic work systems. She is a scientific editor in Applied Ergonomics and on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cognitive Engineering and Decision Making and International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics. She is the 2018 recipient of the Dr. Hamed K. Eldin Outstanding Early Career IE in Academic Award from the Institute of Industrial Systems Engineers.
